– The project involves the refurbishment and upgrade of the Rathmines Road Reserve Pavilion with a design solution focused on gender neutral
changing rooms and amenities, maximising spatial flexibility between matches to prevent queues, and generally lifting the building quality and establishing a presence in the community.

– The pavilion is used by resident sports clubs for weekend games, evening training, and social activities. The building’s facilities, kitchen, social room, first aid and amenities underwent full refurbishment with new finishes and fixtures and new acoustic materials to reduce noise levels and overall improve the quality and comfort of the facility.

– The works included an extension of the building’s existing brick façade at ground level, vertical timber slats separating the old from the new, and tied in with a continuation of steel black edging.
