– This DET Capital Works project at Hawkesdale P-12 College seeks to improve flexibility in classrooms, provide shared and accessible resources, enhance the STEM curriculum, and generally create a better connection to the local community.

– The scope of works includes a new entry façade with new steps and an accessible ramp, providing a contemporary and refreshing lift to the main entrance and offering a new presence for the school. This entry leads into a new administration area with a welcoming and modern reception desk.

– A new STEM hub consisting of two new science rooms will be created, both equipped with chemical storage and purpose built preparation rooms

– General maintenance and refurbishment works include a new roof extension of the existing corridor, repairs to the existing roof, and acoustic treatment works throughout.
