−Wellington Village Corner is a new development for Wellington Village Shopping Centre which 1:1 Architects designed in collaboration with Coy + Yiontis .
−It is a 2-storey building which includes 5 retail spaces on the ground floor and 3 offices and a gymnasium on the first floor.
−The first floor of the centre has a bold organic form created by vertical corten blades. This form floats above the glazed retail spaces below.
−The interior and exterior use warm, earthy colours and natural materials to create a welcoming and lively ambiance.
−The building uses environmentally friendly materials and is SDS compliant (Sustainable Design Scorecard).
