Wodonga Turf Club Master Plan
To aide pedestrian circulation and wayfinding, a new promenade runs from the drop off point to the relocated mounting yard. This strengthens previous pathways and rationalises the new master plan layout by establishing a connection between the mounting yard and the public.
1:1 Architects undertook a joint venture with Joss Construction to develop a schematic master plan for the Wodonga Turf Club. The brief for the master plan addressed issues concerning pedestrian circulation, vehicular pathways and animal movement.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Two new buildings are designed – a new Community & Function Centre and an Amenity & Administration Building. Both of these buildings significantly increase the amenity to the site and upgrade the Wodonga Turf Club to a facility that services the greater Wodonga community.
A reconfigured float car park and animal stalls promote efficient use of existing land and streamline movement within the site. This approach to revaluing land and repurposing previously redundant or exclusive areas was key to maximising the future potential of the site.
